3DHISTECH Ltd has become the key player in the international market of digital microscopy in the past few years.
The number of employees was 14 in 2006, 31 in 2007, and became more than 60 in the year of 2008.
In order to strengthen the market share of the company and to make the product development even faster, it has become necessary to hire more employees. The aim of this project is to increase the R&D capacity.

Creating the prototype of an automated staining, coverslipping, scanning and image processing machine

The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

The aim of the project is to create a staining, coverslipping, scanning and image processing machine that is able to automatize the steps of the pathological workflow. The machine makes the pathologists’ work easier and faster and so patients will get proper treatment sooner.
In the past few years the 3DHISTECH Ltd became a world leader in digital microscopy. The products made by the company are able to scan and analyse the slides. The aim of the project is add new functions to the existing digital slide scanners.
Experiences gained by 3DHISTECH Ltd in the international market of the digital microscopy, the latest technical solutions, the demands of researchers and doctors will all be used to create this instrument.

The use of TMA 2.0 in the pathological workflow

The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

The accelerating technical evolution of medical instruments inspires the market players to rethink their products and services in every one-two year period, to summarize the users feedback and to perform additional development by findig new application fields.
The aim of the project is to create the new version of the TMA Master, by taking into consideration the following aspects:

1. Users' feedback,
2. Latest technical and technological developments,
3. Development plans rising after the introduction of TMA Master
4. The new instrument will be capable to serve not only the pathology departments and research institutes, but to be useful for pharmaceutical companies too.
The new instrument’s name is TMA 2.0.

The future is defined by complex solutions. In the market of medical instruments and machines, products have become more complex and can be widely used. To support the efficient and qualitative medical treatment, one should fulfil the following requirements:
1. Completion of as many workflow steps without human intervention as fast as possible
2. Reproduceable steps
3. Higher level of automatization
The subject of the project is the create a new version of the TMA Master which is able to fulfill the requirements listed above.
With the development and production of this new product, the 3DHISTECH Ltd is creating a new segment in the market of digital microscopy.
